Clube Atlético Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandeirantes the free kick. Clemente Monteiro came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Juventus's Betinho Cardoso. But to his dismay, Betinho Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Clemente Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Bandeirantes got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Prata. After 41 minutes, Yan Almeida made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Clube Atlético Juventus's Lucas dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Almeida to make the kick off. Clemente Monteiro was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Germano Mesquita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bandeirantes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan Trevisan during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bandeirantes's Clemente Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Mesquita in the 92nd minute of play. Clube Atlético Juventus were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
