Fábio Cearense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Adolfo Sena. If Almir Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldinho Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pedro Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Evandro Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. João Pedro Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldinho Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pedro Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Osvaldinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conchas were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Blue F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Almir Romero took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Blue F.C.'s goalie and right to Evandro Braga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Blue F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Túlio Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Goiano in the 40th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 46th minute when Igor Carneiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro Goiano was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Conchas booed when Blue F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Osvaldinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Goiano in the 57th minute of play forced Blue F.C.'s goalkeeper Osvaldinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Sergipano having to interfere. Evandro Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. The throw-in from Sydney Paraense in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Conchas's Túlio Correia. When Mauro Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue F.C.'s protests and gave Mauro Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. João Pedro Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Osvaldinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Sergipano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Conchas's João Pedro Goiano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. João Pedro Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Sergipano having to interfere. Fábio Cearense came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue F.C.'s Murillo Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Murillo Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Many of Conchas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Conchas may have spent more time on the ball, but Blue F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
