Abel Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Catarina F.C.'s André Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, André Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abel Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Nilton Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rejeitados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catarina F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Rejeitados FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nilton Tande hit a great ball. Edmundo Negri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Saraiva. Rejeitados FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vivaldo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Rejeitados FC's Guga Matorin. But to his dismay, Guga Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Catarina F.C.'s zone, Guga Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Medeiros came out of the goal and Guga Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Victor de Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vivaldo Medeiros. Victor de Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Armandinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rejeitados FC's Guga Matorin in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rejeitados FC's goalkeeper Abel Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vivaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor de Moraes in the 69th minute of play. Abel Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Giuseppe Cabral sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Rejeitados FC's Abel Saraiva got control of the ball when Giuseppe Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giuseppe Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vivaldo Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor de Moraes went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Guga Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guga Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guga Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
