Ultra Copos BR's Luís Gustavo Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Araújo in the 7th minute of play. Telmo de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Reginaldo Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Mazza hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Telmo de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Usina da Tijuca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson França in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ediberto Quadros got free with Danilo Severo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ediberto Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Cristian Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ultra Copos BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Usina da Tijuca F.C. the free kick. Reginaldo Araújo got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Luís Gustavo Dracena handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cristian Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reginaldo Araújo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Dracena saved Ultra Copos BR from getting behind. Reginaldo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Dracena having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ediberto Quadros made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ultra Copos BR getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Elias Hermes hit a great ball. Telmo de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luís Gustavo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo de Andrade succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 61st playminute. If Reginaldo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ediberto Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Danilo Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s Reginaldo Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Gustavo Dracena. That made the score 0-3 after 85 minutes of play. After 93 minutes, Erik Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Usina da Tijuca F.C. and the Ultra Copos BR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s Erik Mazza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Telmo de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Dracena having to interfere. Usina da Tijuca F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
