The supporters of Catarina F.C. booed when Mamia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magno Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Elivélton de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Alexsandro Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd match minute, Mamia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Osvaldinho Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magno Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Prado in the 57th minute of the match. Vivaldo Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catarina F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mamia AD.
