After 5 played minutes Mamia AD got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Luz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvaldo Luz during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mamia AD getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edvaldo Luz hit a great ball. Enio Passos, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luís Eduardo Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Murillo Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Igor Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Sergipano having to interfere. The supporters of Mamia AD booed when Blue F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Alexsandro Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Blue F.C.'s Carlos Eduardo Hoffmann got a free kick in the 35th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mamia AD's Edvaldo Luz tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Murillo Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Magno Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Carneiro in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Enio Passos fired a really elegant long shot, but Magno Gonçalves threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After the first half Mamia AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivélton de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Blue F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Alexsandro Amorim in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osvaldinho Sergipano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamia AD's goalkeeper Magno Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Blue F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rony Chaves hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Luís Eduardo Loureiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Osvaldinho Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Blue F.C. booed when Mamia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mamia AD's Magno Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Carneiro in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mamia AD's zone, Igor Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Gonçalves came out of the goal and Igor Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Murillo Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamia AD's Magno Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton de Queiroz got free with Osvaldinho Sergipano in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Elivélton de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mamia AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
