The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Gustavo Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Amorim in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Allan Diniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Diniz got free with Luís Gustavo Dracena in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jonas Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Dracena having to interfere. Allan Diniz scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes, Paulinho Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultra Copos BR and the Expressinho Tricolor players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Ultra Copos BR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute, Allan Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Ezequiel Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultra Copos BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jonas Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Expressinho Tricolor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Amorim couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonas Amorim made the kick off in the second half. If Allan Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vitinho Bastos's late challenge caught a Ultra Copos BR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Expressinho Tricolor getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vitinho Bastos hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, Expressinho Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ultra Copos BR booed when Expressinho Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Vitinho Bastos was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Expressinho Tricolor's Vitinho Bastos got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ediberto Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Expressinho Tricolor's Ulisses Veloso got control of the ball when Ediberto Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ediberto Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultra Copos BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Ultra Copos BR got a freekick which was hit by Elias Hermes. Expressinho Tricolor's Kiko Terra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ultra Copos BR. Allan Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Dracena having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Ediberto Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulisses Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 93rd minute. Luís Gustavo Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Expressinho Tricolor had won after a very even match.
