Catarina F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultra Copos BR the free kick. Armandinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ediberto Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultra Copos BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Catarina F.C.'s Giuseppe Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If André Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Cabral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Luís Gustavo Dracena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 26 minutes, Paulinho Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultra Copos BR and the Catarina F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Paulinho Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Giuseppe Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Gustavo Dracena. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Luís Gustavo Dracena made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Giuseppe Cabral sent off a good shot on target. When Cristian Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultra Copos BR's protests and gave Cristian Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Ultra Copos BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Prado in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Catarina F.C.'s zone, Ezequiel Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Medeiros came out of the goal and Ezequiel Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Gustavo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Goiano to make the kick off. Vivaldo Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 53rd minute. Vivaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ediberto Quadros sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Goiano in the 56th minute of play forced Catarina F.C.'s goalkeeper Vivaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezequiel Goiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vivaldo Medeiros. That made the score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. If Giuseppe Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Medeiros having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 87 minutes into the match, Catarina F.C.'s goalkeeper Vivaldo Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ediberto Quadros. 89 minutes into the game, Catarina F.C.'s André Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Luís Gustavo Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Cabral in the 96th minute of play. André Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Luís Gustavo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
