In the 10th minute, Olavo Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 14 in the game by Alan Matorin from a close distance when the talented Geovânio Figueiredo managed to make a qualified save. Duere EC's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Proença came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Matorin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Figueiredo saved Duere EC from getting behind. José Paulo Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovânio Figueiredo. Geovânio Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Duere EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Osvaldo Mandrak hit a great ball. Ramiro de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Figueiredo having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duere EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarutai EC the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Duere EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Duere EC booed when Sarutai EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Duere EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Arósio to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, Duere EC's Guto Arósio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Paulo Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdemar Proença hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Sarutai EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guto Arósio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 87 minutes of play, Sarutai EC's Ruy Quintal made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Matorin might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Matorin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Alan Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Figueiredo was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 minutes, Patrick Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duere EC and the Sarutai EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Quintal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Duere EC's Geovânio Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Matorin in the 94th minute of play. Ruy Quintal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Geovânio Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarutai EC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Duere EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sarutai EC.
