In the 8th minute, Alan Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Matorin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nilmar Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luís Gustavo Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PRATTI FC's Teodoro Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Galvão in the 27th minute of play forced Sarutai EC's goalkeeper José Paulo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Baptista in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Matorin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Damião saved PRATTI FC from getting behind. Sarutai EC's Nilmar Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the PRATTI FC defense, Alan Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Damião. The PRATTI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo Damião should have stopped the shot. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alan Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PRATTI FC's Luís Gustavo Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Falcão Galvão's late challenge caught a Sarutai EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Galvão helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PRATTI FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Falcão Galvão hit a great ball. Alan Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Luís Gustavo Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

José Paulo Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Baptista in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Rosado came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, PRATTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Quintal came free, but Luís Gustavo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Alan Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Damião having to interfere. Dadá Miranda struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Luís Gustavo Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarutai EC. 92 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Martins came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sarutai EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
