Nelsinho Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Concórdia Atlético Clube's Leonardo Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilvan Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Urbano having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Jequitahy SC's Gilvan Proença ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inácio Urbano. Inácio Urbano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The long shot by Murillo Campidelis in the 22nd minute really tested Inácio Urbano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 27 played minutes Concórdia Atlético Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Nascimento. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gilvan Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jequitahy SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilvan Proença's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Inácio Urbano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Inácio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Proença in the 42nd minute of play forced Concórdia Atlético Clube's goalkeeper Inácio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes, Concórdia Atlético Clube's Dadá Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nelsinho Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Concórdia Atlético Clube reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Álvaro Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jequitahy SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilvan Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Urbano having to interfere. Inácio Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Pirani's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Gilvan Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Inácio Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilvan Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Urbano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Romeu Macedo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Inácio Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jequitahy SC. Inácio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Inácio Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Proença in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Álvaro Torres sped through Concórdia Atlético Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Inácio Urbano.
