The New Name fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Guerra scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerônimo Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Pequizeiro's Erik Krovina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga do Nascimento during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Valdir Bezerra notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of New Name's Tales Mandrak. Tales Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 40 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pequizeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Sena made a kick off. Tales Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, New Name's goalkeeper Tales Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Krovina. Benjamim Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Mandrak having to make a save. A collision led to Pequizeiro getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Valdir Bezerra hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Alfredinho Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pequizeiro's Jerônimo Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Guerra in the 63rd minute of play forced Pequizeiro's goalkeeper Jerônimo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Tande lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Name! Jonathan Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, New Name's goalkeeper Tales Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Krovina. Benjamim Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Krovina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Tales Mandrak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of New Name booed when Pequizeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Guerra in the 87th minute of play forced Pequizeiro's goalkeeper Jerônimo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Name's Tales Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Lago in the 89th minute of play. Erik Krovina hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Penha having to interfere. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
