Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dagoberto Soeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matheus Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dagoberto Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gueto's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matheus Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilton Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Gomes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coitezeiro's Nando Severo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Matheus Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Neiva in the 13th minute of the match. Jerônimo Galvão hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Reinaldo Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Gueto got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Galvão. Alberto Cunha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Falcão Carneiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dagoberto Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matheus Gomes having to make a save. Dagoberto Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Soeiro in the 34th minute of play forced Coitezeiro's goalkeeper Matheus Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Coitezeiro got a freekick which was hit by Nando Severo. Dagoberto Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Wilton Neiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gueto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Coitezeiro's Nando Severo got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Gueto were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Lara made a kick off. Wilton Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Matheus Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, one of Coitezeiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Augusto Travassos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Wilton Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Gomes having to interfere. Dagoberto Soeiro had several of the Coitezeiro's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Matheus Gomes as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Silveira in the 72nd minute of play forced Gueto's goalkeeper Falcão Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Mathias Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Mathias Lara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Coitezeiro's Matheus Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Soeiro in the 87th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Silveira's late challenge caught a Gueto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Eduardo Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Coitezeiro getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Silveira hit a great ball. Dagoberto Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matheus Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head.
