Spectators: 7110 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 52) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diogo Pombal got the match started through his kick off. Herreria's Elias Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Dante in the 6th minute of play. Genílson de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Meira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Severo. Herreria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geovani de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Thiago Arce made a huge save. Thiago Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Rosenborg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Pombal came free, but Thiago Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Pombal in the 20th minute of the match. Genílson de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Herreria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Rosenborg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Geovani de Sousa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Arce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dedé Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dedé Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosenborg BK's Dedé Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Arce made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Geovani de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Luiz Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sílvio Luiz Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosenborg BK's Thiago Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Pombal in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Herreria's Diogo Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Dedé Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rosenborg BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Rosado couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herreria's goalkeeper Elias Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Herreria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Rosenborg BK's Sílvio Luiz Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diogo Pombal took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Arce. Thiago Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Herreria's goalkeeper Elias Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luiz Dante. Rosenborg BK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Herreria had won, even though Rosenborg BK had held more of the ball.
