In the 67th minute, Waldir Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the ᴛɴ ғᴄ defense, Genílson de Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovani Aguiar. The ᴛɴ ғᴄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovani Aguiar should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, ᴛɴ ғᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Meira came free, but Geovani Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Christiano Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Genílson de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani Aguiar was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84thth minute of the game Waldir Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴛɴ ғᴄ's Geovani Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosenborg BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovani Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Genílson de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Teles in the 91st minute of play. Waldir Meira took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovani Aguiar. Geovani Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Rosenborg BK played a much better game than ᴛɴ ғᴄ and deserved their victory. The ᴛɴ ғᴄ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
