The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Matorin to make the kick off. Doni Hermes made a great header on tgauatingaQNG-df's corner, it was just that S.C.Canastra Paulista's Naldo Goiano managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the S.C.Canastra Paulista defense, Jano Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Goiano. The S.C.Canastra Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Goiano should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
