Rui Cunha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Canoeira's Pedro Luiz Pirani got a free kick in the 12th minute. José Augusto Penha came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Canoeira's Rodrigo Mineiro. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Canoeira's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Zonta came free, but Duda Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Pirani hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. José Augusto Penha came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Canoeira's Ezequiel Pinho. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Rodrigo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canoeira's Ezequiel Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Ezequiel Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Penha was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Genílson Zonta made a precise shot to the right of Duda Passos. Canoeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ezequiel Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. José Augusto Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Pirani hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Genílson Zonta made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Canoeira's zone, Genílson Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Passos came out of the goal and Genílson Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Geovânio Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to tgauatingaQNG-df getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Diguinho Novaes hit a great ball. tgauatingaQNG-df's José Augusto Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save tgauatingaQNG-df from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, tgauatingaQNG-df's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pinho came free, but José Augusto Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Pirani's late challenge caught a tgauatingaQNG-df's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luiz Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, tgauatingaQNG-df's Genílson Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duda Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jano Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Duda Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but José Augusto Penha made a huge save. When Reynaldo Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored tgauatingaQNG-df's protests and gave Reynaldo Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Canoeira booed when tgauatingaQNG-df was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Souto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. José Augusto Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Rodrigo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Reynaldo Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes, Canoeira's Elói Souto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Augusto Penha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canoeira reached it. The tgauatingaQNG-df fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canoeira were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
