When Luiz Fabiano Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Riconada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Abreu couldn't finish the play. When Christian Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riconada EC's protests and gave Christian Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Atlético Lucena FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Quadros. In the 26th match minute, Atlético Lucena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Jarbas Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizinho Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarbas Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarbas Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raphael Brasil hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Jarbas Vieira from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Luizinho Negri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luizinho Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Ortiz in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Christian Cordeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luizinho Negri. Christian Cordeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Edson dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riconada EC's protests and gave Edson dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Riconada EC got a freekick which was hit by Edson dos Santos. If Vítor Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Luizinho Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Riconada EC's Jarbas Vieira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luizinho Negri. Luizinho Negri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The Riconada EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
