He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riconada EC reached it. Edu Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Oliveira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Jarbas Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riconada EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edu Ortiz during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Riconada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Riconada EC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Campidelis. Jean Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Riconada EC's Claudinho Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jean Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th match minute, Riconada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Tubarão ManagerZone Club's Mário Borges broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 95th minute, Jean Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
