After 16 minutes, Fiori Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A. D. 2 DE JULHO and the Pé Frio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fiori Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caio Sarmento in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Amaral during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Pé Frio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes A. D. 2 DE JULHO got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Carioca. Vitinho Proença made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Bell Marx sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Custódio to make the kick off. Vitinho Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Sarmento in the 53rd minute of play. Vitinho Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio Sarmento went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Pé Frio F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gil de Barros hit a great ball. Filipe Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Custódio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 61 minutes, Tim Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pé Frio F.C. and the A. D. 2 DE JULHO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tim Maia hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Pé Frio F.C.'s Bell Marx got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Bell Marx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pé Frio F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bell Marx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitinho Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bell Marx in the 75th minute of play. Felipe Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Filipe Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when A. D. 2 DE JULHO's Felipe Custódio in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Filipe Braga was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pé Frio F.C. through an amazing save. When Gil de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pé Frio F.C.'s protests and gave Gil de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Gil de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Felipe Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Falcão Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
