Sydney Moreira started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Atlético Lucena FC's goalkeeper Luizinho Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bell Marx. Sydney Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Filipe Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Lucena FC's Ruy Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pé Frio F.C.'s zone, Ruy Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Braga came out of the goal and Ruy Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sydney Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Braga was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Atlético Lucena FC's Luisão Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Braga having to interfere. The supporters of Atlético Lucena FC booed when Pé Frio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizinho Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pé Frio F.C.'s zone, Sydney Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Braga came out of the goal and Sydney Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Pé Frio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil de Barros to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes of play, Atlético Lucena FC's Ruy Quadros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizinho Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Maia in the 37th minute. Luizinho Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Sarmento in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Sydney Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Lucena FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 45th minute, Luisão Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético Lucena FC's Sydney Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. If Luisão Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Pé Frio F.C.'s goalkeeper Filipe Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sydney Moreira. In the 55th minute, Bell Marx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizinho Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 59th minute, Atlético Lucena FC's Sydney Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Braga. Filipe Braga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Sydney Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Filipe Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Caio Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pé Frio F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sydney Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Filipe Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney Moreira in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney Moreiras short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Filipe Braga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Sydney Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Braga having to interfere. With a little luck, Pé Frio F.C.'s Filipe Braga got control of the ball when Vítor Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 played minutes, Pé Frio F.C.'s Marcos Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizinho Negri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pé Frio F.C. reached it. In the 87th minute of the match Olívio Branco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizinho Negri skillfully saved the ball. Luisão Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Filipe Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Lucena FC. The Pé Frio F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Lucena FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
