Predadores da Bola's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th minute, Black Dragons Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beto Neto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vágner Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Quirino in the 14th minute of the match. Vágner Braga made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Beto Neto sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Alberto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Alberto Quirino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vágner Braga, passed just outside the right post. If Beto Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Predadores da Bola's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho da Rocha came free, but Zézinho Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Black Dragons Fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vágner Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Quirino in the 53rd minute of play. Zézinho Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho da Rocha in the 55th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Black Dragons Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
