In the 4th minute, Luís Paulo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 4 minutes, Valdo Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAVY MARINERS S.E's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdo Varela's late challenge caught a Laurentino da Gama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Varela helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NAVY MARINERS S.E's Valdo Varela got a free kick in the 19th minute. Umberto Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NAVY MARINERS S.E's Luís Paulo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luís Paulo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Laurentino da Gama's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Varela came free, but Rafinha Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in NAVY MARINERS S.E's zone, Umberto Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sadettin Karacan came out of the goal and Umberto Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umberto Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sadettin Karacan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadettin Karacan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Umberto Paulista sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Varela to make the kick off. Sadettin Karacan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Paulista's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Sadettin Karacan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Paulista went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Laurentino da Gama's Cesinha da Silveira got a free kick in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Laurentino da Gama's goalkeeper Rafinha Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Eger. Valdo Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st play minute Luís Paulo Eger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafinha Mendes. 1-1. After a rather tough play, NAVY MARINERS S.E's Francisco de Queiroz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Laurentino da Gama's Rafinha Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Laurentino da Gama from getting a goal against them. After 77 played minutes Laurentino da Gama got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha da Silveira. With an all-out effort, NAVY MARINERS S.E's Rafinha Mendes threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdo Varela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Paulo Eger could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Rafinha Mendes however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Valdo Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAVY MARINERS S.E's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Karacan having to interfere.
