Víktor Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Zanette in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Edinho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AfrcBR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Norberto Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Zanette to make the kick off. AfrcBR's Victor Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the AfrcBR defense, Eusébio Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Nunes. The AfrcBR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Nunes should have stopped the shot. Víktor Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Zanette in the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Victor Zanette put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Víktor Sergipano. Norberto Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sabiuca fans cheered their team off the field, for while AfrcBR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
