Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Umberto Meirelles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, morungaba FC's Waldir Rosa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Umberto Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. morungaba FC's Luiz Eduardo Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Meirelles in the 21st minute of play forced morungaba FC's goalkeeper Gernando Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Umberto Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, morungaba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Paulista came free, but Gernando Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Melo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Mendes. Rafinha Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fabinho Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rafinha Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Fabinho Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafinha Mendes, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Umberto Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umberto Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Teles having to interfere. Fabinho Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute Umberto Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in morungaba FC's zone, Umberto Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Teles came out of the goal and Umberto Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Umberto Meirelles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gernando Teles. That made the score 2-2 in the 75 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Umberto Paulista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 81 minutes into the match, morungaba FC's goalkeeper Gernando Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Paulista. If Francisco Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laurentino da Gama's Rafinha Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer França in the 87th minute of play.
