A collision led to Aquidauananese getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jorginho Campidelis hit a great ball. The long shot by Jarbas Simões in the 33rd minute really tested Robinho Cruz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aquidauananese's Leonardo Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Mattos to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Predadores da Bola's Victor Andrade got a free kick in the 69th minute.
