With 29 minutes on the clock, Gláuber Simão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Aquidauananese's Wanderson Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Umberto Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. Vivaldo Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Mendes having to interfere. In the 56th minute Umberto Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Campidelis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Umberto Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aquidauananese's Robinho Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Umberto Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
