In the 23rdth minute of the game Noel Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lumiar's João Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lumiar's João Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Bittencourt in the 24th minute of play. Geovani Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Nunes having to interfere. Noel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Nunes having to make a save. After the first half Travessos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Jorge Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Peres in the 57th minute of play. João Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Peres in the 59th minute of the match. Noel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Lumiar got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Gomes. 72 minutes into the match, Travessos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Nunes came free, but Durvalino Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noel Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Noel Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Nunes having to interfere. Charles Bittencourt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Nunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Bittencourt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Travessos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lumiar throughout the match.
