The supporters of Time do Povo booed when C. R. Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olívio Barros's late challenge caught a C. R. Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Olívio Barros hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match.
