After a rather tough play, VSKG Esporte Clube's Alan Figueiredo got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Jean Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Edmundo Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BETIMFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. A well-hit corner resulted in Luiz Eduardo Vander heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 39 minutes into the game, BETIMFC's Jean Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jardel Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Waldir de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETIMFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Travassos in the 63rd minute of play forced VSKG Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Jardel Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Travassos in the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Edmundo Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jardel Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 82 minutes, Waldir de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETIMFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of BETIMFC booed when VSKG Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Mateus Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jardel Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir de Medeiros went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the BETIMFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
