Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Campeão's Emílio do Nascimento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Jean Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campeão's Renatinho Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Emílio do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campeão's protests and gave Emílio do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Emílio do Nascimento hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Jean Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the BETIMFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Travassos couldn't finish the play. Renatinho Leão came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by BETIMFC's Waldir de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Waldir de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jean Travassos scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renatinho Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruninho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Loureiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Couto during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, BETIMFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Couto to maneuver through the defense. When Artur Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Campeão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Jean Tepedino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jean Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Leão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Travassos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renatinho Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Campeão's Renatinho Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Travassos in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Travassos to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, BETIMFC's Jean Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Waldir de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Brasil in the 62nd minute of play. Renatinho Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With his leg Renatinho Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when BETIMFC's Jean Travassos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Waldir de Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renatinho Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Campeão's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir de Medeiros came free, but Renatinho Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Renatinho Leão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Waldir de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BETIMFC played a much better game than Campeão and deserved their victory. The Campeão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
