Time do Povo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.R.A. F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Time do Povo's Olívio Barros got a free kick in the 81st minute. Délio Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Víktor Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Time do Povo had won after a very even match.
