Spectators: 7219 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inácio Valadares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Betão Almeida made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Karamelo FC's Baltazar Gerber. Baltazar Gerber struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Franklin Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamelo FC. If Inácio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, Horácio Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Inácio Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When Inácio Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Karamelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Valadares couldn't finish the play. Inácio Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Betão Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Alegre F.C's zone, Baltazar Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Dracena came out of the goal and Baltazar Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Dracena having to interfere. Franklin Dracena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Oliveira went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Karamelo FC's Abel Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Baltazar Gerber struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Franklin Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamelo FC. If Paulinho Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karamelo FC's Gildo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso de Salles in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If João Carlos Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karamelo FC's Abel Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Carlos Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Dracena having to make a save. Franklin Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Neiva in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Abel Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franklin Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Inácio Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Karamelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Valadares couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Abel Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karamelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, Vista Alegre F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Karamelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Gerber. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Valadares in the 80th minute of play forced Vista Alegre F.C's goalkeeper Franklin Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vista Alegre F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Llorian Tarin was slow to take the kick. During this time Karamelo FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 85th minute, Valério Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Inácio Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Franklin Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baltazar Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Abel Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franklin Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karamelo FC fully deserved thier win.
