An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Medeiros in the 40th minute of play forced Bascow FC's goalkeeper Otávio Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Medeiros in the 49th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Reginaldo Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. The Bascow FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Bascow FC's Mário de Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. José Maria Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Cardoso having to interfere. When the match was over Bascow FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hunters Heisz throughout the match.
