Saint Martin FC's Moisés do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Freitas in the 17th minute of play. NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s Chiquinho Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcel Perez 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s Gustavo Pitta got a free kick in the 37th minute. Angelo Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Rodrigues in the 38th minute. Luís Paulo Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Angelo Pires made a huge save. Luís Paulo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank de Sousa who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Frank de Sousa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s Angelo Pires did a great save. Zé Pedro Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s Chiquinho Trancoso in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Moisés do Vale was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Saint Martin FC through an amazing save. Moisés do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Trancoso in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of NOTHÓRIOUS F. C. booed when Saint Martin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Angelo Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, NOTHÓRIOUS F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Perez came free, but Angelo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Chiquinho Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Martin FC's Moisés do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saint Martin FC's Marcel Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luís Paulo Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Saint Martin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Angelo Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute Luís Paulo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Perez went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
