Moisés do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Paranaense during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gildo Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Perez in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Claudinho Pitta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Motta. Karamelo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Moisés do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Oliveira in the 21st minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Karamelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Oliveira. Gildo Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Perez in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Luís Paulo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Moisés do Vale made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Maurício Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Abel Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Abel Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurício Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Moisés do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Moisés do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamelo FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Maurício Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karamelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Guilherme Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Martin FC's zone, Abel Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés do Vale came out of the goal and Abel Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saint Martin FC's goalkeeper Moisés do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chants of Saint Martin FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Karamelo FC had held the ball for most of the match.
