The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Mário de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bascow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Dantas in the 37th minute of play forced Hinkiridion F.C's goalkeeper Caio Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Ruy Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mário de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruy Cabral in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Godoi saved Bascow FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruy Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário de Amorim in the 52nd minute of play forced Hinkiridion F.C's goalkeeper Caio Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Godoi having to interfere. Régis Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Godoi having to interfere. Hinkiridion F.C's Caio Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário de Amorim in the 74th minute of play. José Maria Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Quadros having to interfere. The audience was convinced that José Maria Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio Quadros was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. José Maria Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
