Régis Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Chicão Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Cerezo in the 17th minute of play. Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Cerezo in the 20th minute of play. Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Thayus Clube de Futebol from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Nando de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Alvarenga. Thayus Clube de Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga got control of the ball when Nando de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Ulisses Correia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chicão Alvarenga having to interfere. Ulisses Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Thayus Clube de Futebol from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Nando de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Alvarenga. Thayus Clube de Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Chicão Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kiko Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Chicão Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Simão in the 37th minute. If Rony Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga got control of the ball when Marquinhos Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Valladares came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Thayus Clube de Futebol's Kiko Torres. But to his dismay, Kiko Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When Rony Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Thayus Clube de Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Garcia couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Thayus Clube de Futebol's William Prado got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xaxim AD's zone, Kiko Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Valladares came out of the goal and Kiko Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thayus Clube de Futebol's Chicão Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando de Medeiros in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Xaxim AD's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Torres came free, but Roger Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Correia's late challenge caught a Thayus Clube de Futebol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Correia helped the player get up and apologised. Ulisses Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Xaxim AD's zone, Rony Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Valladares came out of the goal and Rony Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Roger Valladares made a huge save. Régis Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Chicão Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Medeiros in the 97th minute of the match.
