In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Toropy. Fábio de Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valdemar Lopez. 1-0. Toropy's Afonsinho Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Afonsinho Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toropy's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Almeida scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Almeida in the 48th minute of play forced Repushow F.C.'s goalkeeper Valdemar Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulisses Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Toropy's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Marques came free, but Romeu Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Toropy's goalkeeper Romeu Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Brasil. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ulisses Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toropy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Renatinho Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Repushow F.C.'s protests and gave Renatinho Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. Valdemar Lopez went to the wrong direction when Fábio de Sena was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fábio Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Afonsinho Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeu Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Marques in the 95th minute of play. Wilian Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeu Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Toropy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Repushow F.C. for a fine match.
