The Tamboral fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Tamboral's Lauro do Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 46 played minutes Tamboral got a freekick which was hit by Dito de Salles. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, M4isOuMenos F.C's Ernani de Moraes got control of the ball when Virgílio Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line.
