Ernani de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Yuri Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Ibuaco EC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Mazza. The supporters of M4isOuMenos F.C booed when Ibuaco EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabinho Mazza hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, M4isOuMenos F.C's Luís Guilherme Macedo got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, M4isOuMenos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Mazza came free, but Ernani de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Ibuaco EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Ernani de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Mazza in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ibuaco EC defense, Yuri Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Vargas. The Ibuaco EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Vargas should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Garcia to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibuaco EC's Fabinho Mazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernani de Moraes. That made the score 1-1 after 55 minutes of play. Wilton Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilton Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ibuaco EC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fabinho Mazza hit a great ball. Waldemar Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernani de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Dionísio in the 68th minute. Wilton Garcia struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hamílton Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for M4isOuMenos F.C. Willian Vinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Vargas having to make a save. Luiz Paulo Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. M4isOuMenos F.C's Yuri Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Ibuaco EC's Filipe Leal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernani de Moraes. Ernani de Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see M4isOuMenos F.C lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
