Romeu Arósio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Iuri Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. Laerte Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Laerte Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Ulisses Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toropy and the Clube Atlético Lençoense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iuri Capixaba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeu Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulisses Almeida was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Iuri Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Lençoense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laerte Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Arósio having to interfere. Maurinho Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Toropy got a freekick which was hit by João Diniz. In the 58th minute, Nando Silveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Toropy's Romeu Arósio didn't even have to move. 63 minutes into the match, Iuri Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeu Arósio. Toropy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iuri Capixaba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Ulisses Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Laerte Dante got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Iuri Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot.
