Raimundo Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamboral. 23 minutes into the match, ABANDONEI O TIME's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro do Vale came free, but Raimundo Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro do Vale in the 24th minute of play forced ABANDONEI O TIME's goalkeeper Raimundo Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Virgílio Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Lauro do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tamboral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro do Vale couldn't finish the play. The ABANDONEI O TIME players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tamboral were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Tamboral getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hortêncio Carvalho hit a great ball. Raimundo Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Virgílio Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the game, Lauro do Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimundo Cavalcante. Lauro do Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 58th match minute, ABANDONEI O TIME was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Raimundo Cavalcante made a huge save. Virgílio Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Virgílio Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Antunes in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raimundo Cavalcante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gustavo Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Terra in the 95th minute of play.
