After 2 played minutes Shadow of Nightmare FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Carioca. Luiz Paulo Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. José Vítor Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Narciso Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Vargas, 1-1. When Murillo Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Shadow of Nightmare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Capixaba couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Narciso Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ibuaco EC's zone, Murillo Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Vargas came out of the goal and Murillo Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Leal in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Shadow of Nightmare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Felippe Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Murillo Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hamílton Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shadow of Nightmare FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Nogueira in the 45th minute of play forced Ibuaco EC's goalkeeper Hamílton Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ibuaco EC's Luiz Paulo Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Vítor Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
