If Fabinho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Marcel Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Dionísio hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Loyola to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo Dionísio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Fabinho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81st play minutes Fabinho Mazza shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Raimundo Cavalcante and just under the crossbar into goal. Genílson Terra hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabinho Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibuaco EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Elivélton Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ABANDONEI O TIME fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivélton Loyola couldn't finish the play. Elivélton Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ibuaco EC's Fabinho Mazza in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
