EC POLIFER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulysses Simões's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Ulysses Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Brasil struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hamílton Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Repushow F.C.. A collision led to EC POLIFER getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Christiano do Vale hit a great ball. Wilian Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The Repushow F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Repushow F.C.'s Geraldo Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
