In the 16th minute, Telmo Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazinho Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 74 played minutes Carpeiro Paulinia F.C's Telmo Soares stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Róbson Abraão stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Queixo Juniors of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão de Salles couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Queixo Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carpeiro Paulinia F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
