The crowd rose to their feet as Rubinho Pirani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chicão Furlan. That made the score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Mapirunga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Proença to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Túlio Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. COXA DE MINHOCA's Bruninho Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubinho Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Furlan having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Chicão Furlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Geraldo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Raphael Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Chicão Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapirunga SC. 44 minutes into the game, Raphael Alcântara lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Chicão Furlan. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Chicão Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Pirani in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Pirani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Furlan was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Valério Bittencourt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Túlio Teixeira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Raphael Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
