Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evandro da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Juraraita's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro da Fonseca came free, but Ademir Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro da Fonseca got free with Ademir Tasso in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbson Abraão having to make a save. Giovanni Pirani scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbson Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Severino Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juraraita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Severino Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademir Tasso having to make a save. Giovanni Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Abraão having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Simão Cerezo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Queixo Juniors's Róbson Abraão. Róbson Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Queixo Juniors getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. João Barbosa hit a great ball. Juraraita's Cláudio Sarmento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Queixo Juniors. After 45 played minutes Queixo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Quintal. Giovanni Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Róbson Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match Juraraita got a corner. Queixo Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cláudio Sarmento ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Juraraita's Cláudio Sarmento to fire away a dangerous shot which Róbson Abraão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Simão Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Juraraita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Sandrinho Souza hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Erasmo Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Róbson Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Queixo Juniors's Erasmo Quintal got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Juraraita's Giovanni Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Giovanni Pirani lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Róbson Abraão. João Barbosa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Juraraita got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Moraes. Júnior Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
