After some careless play in the Quarany defense, Túlio Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Alcântara. The Quarany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Elói Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hamílton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Murilo Guedes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elói Alcântara. The goal made the score 2-0. With a little luck, Quarany's Elói Alcântara got control of the ball when Murilo Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, David Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Alcântara. Quarany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 33 minutes into the match, Quarany's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Guedes came free, but Elói Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With splendid footwork Murilo Guedes arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. David Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Guedes in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Murilo Guedes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Vinhas to make the kick off. Murilo Guedes struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Elói Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caboto SS. Caboto SS's Túlio Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57thth minute of the game Murilo Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quarany's Elói Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Germano Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caboto SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Caboto SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Dias to maneuver through the defense. Elói Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Guedes went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Caboto SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
